The fabric is a stretch satin, so the fit is forgiving, I wear a size 4 normally and this dress fit me perfectly. Because of the open back the bust fit is very forgiving also! Meaning, I have DD breasts and they were held up no problem, smaller bust will fit great too! AND because this dress has a slit in the front, your height does not matter! I am 4'9" and the length just added to the train, if you are super tall, then technically the train gets a little shorter. This dress is SO EASY.
The spaghetti straps have beads/pearls and the complete lace is filled with sequins, so it is sparkly, not as much as super beaded gowns but enough to stand out and not be considered a plane lace dress. The photos do not do this dress justice! You can dress it up or keep it more casual like I did for my wedding.
