I've been to 8 bridal boutique until I found this dress. I fell in love with it at first touch. The hand-gathered tulle bodice is so soft and the ruched tulle technique overlay makes the dress really unique. It is a ball gown but very light and airy. It is effortless chic, casually formal which is perfect for an outdoor estate wedding. So when I was looking into the mirror, I told myself - This is the one!
This dress was originally purchased by a girl who cancelled her wedding and listed it here. I was running out of time (Vera Wang takes 10 months to make the dress but I have only 3 months left), and was so excited when I found her listing. By the time I received the dress, it was brand new and never worn/altered. It was later hemmed to my height. I'm 5'4'' without heels. On the wedding day I wore 3'' heels. No bra cups or bustle addded. I just wore it for the ceremony and pictures for about 2 hrs, then changed to another dress for reception.
My wedding is @ Maui, Hawaii, November 2019. This dress is gently worn with minimal signs of usage. It is not professionally cleaned, but can be cleaned upon request at buyer's cost.
