This is a custom, handmade Vera Wang wedding gown purchased from the Blush Bridal boutique in Vancouver, BC. It took over 6 months to make this dress to my exact measurements.
This dress is from the Fall 2016 collection and it is called "Fernanda." It is a showstopper!! The skirt has countless layers of tulle for a timeless, yet dramatic look. The corset bodice just molds to your body, so it is very flattering to your figure. The skirt may look large, but it doesn't feel at all heavy when you wear it. It just floats as you walk. I picked this version of the Fernanda dress because I wanted to cover my arms and the sheer sleeves were such a chic way to do it! You also have the option of tucking in the sleeves and the neckline to make it look like a strapless gown.
I only wore this dress once on my wedding day. After that, I had it it professionally dry cleaned and put in a preservation box. The dress is in new condition. Please note, I am 5'6 and was wearing 3 inch heels in all the photos.
