This Rime Arodaky Joni dress is such a classic yet sophisticated dress. Once I tried this dress on, I absolutely knew it was THE ONE.
Frenchwoman Rime Arodaky is part of a cool new generation of designers breaking away from traditional bridal dresses. The plunging bodice of this 'Joni' gown is made from Swiss-dot tulle - a layer of it also falls behind the split in the white crepe skirt so you won't need to worry about revealing too much skin. The long, flared cuffs will draw the eye to your beautiful wedding ring, too.
I got TONS of compliments of my dress and I am positive you will too! It's non-traditional and such a breath of fresh air from the normal wedding dresses!
Mid-weight, non-stretchy fabric but easy to move around in (as you can tell in the video attached). I wore this dress for our ceremony and a quick photoshoot which took no more than 2 hours. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned in Orange County, California!

Alterations
At the time of the wedding, I weighed approximately 115 lbs (no more than 120 lbs). My height is 5'2-5'3 and wore the dress with 4 inch heels.
The original dress has been slightly altered to my measurements:
- the length of the skirt has been shortened with 15 cm compared to the original length due to my size, only at the front. At the back, it has been gradually shortened by 5-6 cm only.
- the width of the dress was taken in to give a more fitted look (previously looked straight from top to bottom).
