The Dress
Selling this beautiful Noya Juliet gown by Riki Dalal in ivory with blush underlay. The dress is a size US 2 and altered for length (5ft6 overall). It fits like a US street size 2-4 and perfectly for measurements [32B bust - 25 waist - free hip]. It will fit 5ft6 overall height but due to all the layers it would also be ok for someone an inch or two taller.
Excellent condition with the original receipts. It was only worn for approximately 6 hours. The dress was $3,200 new in 2021 and alterations were an addition $650.
Alterations
Length was taken up to fit 5ft6 (167cm).
French bustle
It has detachable straps which I had altered thinner and can be worn in many different ways, either as bardot off-the-shoulder, on the shoulders or removed completely for different looks. There is a concealed bustle button on the back to hook the train up (for dancing!). The bodice is boned with built-in moulded cups so no bra is needed, and fastened with hook & eyes and a hidden zip on the skirt.
This truly is a breathtaking gown and the detail on the gown sets it apart from anything I’ve ever seen. It has hand sewn applique 3D flowers and leaves on the bodice, mini pearl beads and many intricate layers of lace, silk and tulle in the skirt, one of which is a blush colour giving the dress a unique soft pink colouring in different lights. It is from the current Shakespeare collection from Riki Dalal and truly stunning.
